ISHPEMING — To start it’s 2023 football season, Bark River-Harris is tasked with playing four-straight road games. The Broncos started that journey with a 50-14 win over Ishpeming Westwood on Friday.

Cristian Spear led the Broncos in rushing with 164 yards on 13 carries and four touchdowns. Dom Lantange added 98 yards rushing on eight carries. Quarterback Ethan Ives finished 2-for-4 passing with 38 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, defensive tackle Lucas Sischo led the way with four tackles. Ben Shiverski and Max Burton each added an interception. The Broncos travel to face Iron Mountain at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
