The Central UP Youth Football League concluded their season with the Doug Showers Memorial championship games on Saturday, October 15 at the Bark River-Harris High School Football Field. In the Youth Junior division (5th-6th grade), the Bark River–Harris team, sponsored by Ever After Decorating defeated the Iron Mountain Youth Junior team, sponsored by Hall Orthodontics, by a score of 7-0. In the Youth Senior Division (7th-8th grade), Iron Mountain, sponsored by Marshfield Medical Center Dickinson, defeated Bark River-Harris, sponsored by Bergman Insurance and Massie’s Country Market by a score of 14-6.
