CARNEY — The Carney-Nadeau Wolves struggled on offense here Wednesday night, dropping a 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, 25-20) volleyball decision to the Stephenson Eagles.

“I thought the girls played hard,” said C-N coach Steve Kedsch. “We did a good job on defense and with our serving, but we made a lot of hitting errors. I thought Stephenson did a real good defensively tonight. Our effort was great. We just have to make better choices.”

Mariska Laurila provided the Wolves with eight kills, three blocks and 13 digs. Samantha Kedsch added four kills, 16 assists and 13 digs and Elodie Lenca had four kills, three aces and 16 digs.

The Wolves, who dropped the jayvee match (26-24, 25-8), travel to Norway Tuesday.
