CARNEY — Serving and passing were the keys for the Carney-Nadeau Wolves in a 3-0 (25-7, 25-22, 25-16) volleyball victory over the Norway Knights here Tuesday night.

“We came out firing on all cylinders, then we struggled with serve receives in the second set.” said C-N coach Steve Kedsch. “We were down 9-2, then we started getting good serves and passes to our setter which turned the momentum in our favor. The third set was kind of a repeat of the second.”

Samantha Kedsch led the Wolves with six service aces and 16 assists. Mariska Laurila tallied five aces and six kills. Hailey DeGrave added four aces and nine kills. Marissa Thompson also had four aces and Elodie Lenca finished with four kills and eight digs.

The Wolves, who won the jayvee match, hosted Bark River-Harris Wednesday. They host North Central Tuesday.
