POWERS — The Bark River-Harris volleyball team topped North Central 3-0 (25-3, 25-11, 25-7) here Thursday.

“Overall, it was a productive night for us with all of the girls on our roster seeing playing time,” Broncos coach Jennifer Ives said. “Carley Varoni led the night with 13 aces, eight kills and six assists, and Hope Varoni led in assists with 16. Braelyn Derouin, Makenzie Hoffmeyer and Kassidy LaBar all added four gis. Nina Bower and Lauren Zawada had five and four kills respectively.

“Tonight, our focus was on communication and keeping our energy up, and we did well in those areas. The scores don’t really reflect it, but coach (Rick) Mick has a very scrappy team that gave us some good volleys, and we look forward to seeing them at BR-H later in the season.”

BR-H hosts Westwood Monday.
