EBEN — The Carney-Nadeau volleyball team fell to Superior Central 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-23) in Eben Tuesday.
“Overall, we were pretty balanced tonight,” Wolves coach Steve Kedsch said. “At times our serve-receive was great. The kids hustled hard tonight.”
“We needed consistency. I have a young team, but we need to be a little more consistent in our play. We were right there with them in the last two sets, but we just weren’t able to score those last two points.
“On the other hand, we had some good runs and some good defenses, but we couldn’t just stay consistent.”
Carney, who won the JV contest 2-0 (25-23, 25-9) host Mid Peninsula today.
