HARRIS — The Bark River-Harris volleyball team swept (25-10, 25-10, 25-14) Menominee in its home opener Tuesday in Harris.

“The girls played well against a home crowd,” Broncos coach Jennifer Ives said. “We graduated six seniors in key positions, but we can’t really call this a rebuilding year because the girls came in ready to play and fill the spots. We played hard and worked on better communcation. The defense covered the floor well and made great passes on serve received. The setters made good choices to run a strong offense, and the hitters capitalized on good passes and sets. We continue to have work to do, but overall, (we) are happy with our home opener.”
