GAYLORD — Five Escanaba grapplers are moving on to regionals after performances in the MHSAA Division 2 Individual Districts Saturday in Gaylord.

The five advancing are, at 112 pounds Cade Krueger — who placed fourth Saturday, at 119 Eli Gardner — third, at 125 Charley McInerney — third, at 140 Adam Reimer — fourth and at 189 Jarret Olsen — fourth.

“I think it went really well,” said Esky coach Jeff Wright. “We wrestled really tough. Our district is a very difficult distrct, and these five wrestlers came though and got themselves a palce. Overall, as a team, we had 13 wrestlers competing, and every one of them wrestled their butts off.”

The five head to Fremont Saturday for MHSAA Division 2 Individual Regionals.
