Wolverines top Cougars twice
ST. NICHOLAS — The Mid Peninsula Wolverines earned a full sweep — at both JV and Varswity levels — over the Superior Central Cougars Friday night in St. Nicholas.
The Wolvverines won 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-17) in the varsity match and 2-1 (24-19, 21-25, 15-6) in the JV match.
“It was a great overall team win,” said Mid Pen coach Emily Kayser It’s always a plus when everyone hits the stat book. So, everyone is doing there role.
Landry Koski had a good night, garnering stats (4 aces, 10 kills, 1 assist, 7 digs, 3 blocks)in every category.
The Wolverines host the Big Bay den Noc Black Bears tonight for Senior/PArent Night in St. Nicholas.
