MENOMINEE — The Escanaba volleyball team finished Menominee 3-0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-14) Thursday in Menominee.

“Good run for the Eskymos ladies tonight,” Esky coach Adam Lambert said. “We were able to pull off some new things we were trying for offense. Our girls played well and had fun doing it.”

The Eskymos may find that experimentation to be a boon as they face two strong programs (Marquette and Manistique) next week.

“(We’re) getting ready for two big battles new week, Marquette and Manistique, which both have solid programs and players.”

Escanaba hosts Marquette Tuesday and Manistique Thursday.
