NORWAY — The Norway Knights edged out the Gladstone Braves 8-7 in extra innings Thursday in Norway.

Trevor Hansen started on the mound for Gladstone and allowed four hits for four runs (1 ER). He had one strikeout and one walk.

Cam Kelly (three strikeouts, one walk, two allowed hits for two runs (1 ER)) and Tyler Darmogrey (three strikeouts, three walks, two allowed hits dor two runs (1 ER)) also pitched in the contest with Darmogrey absorbing the loss.

Heading into the bottom of the fifth, the Braves led 6-4. The Knights scored two to tie it up, however.

Each team scored one in the sixth to stay tied and force the eventual extra inning.

Nolan AMundson scored in the eight for the KNights to win the game.

Blake Krouth was 3-5 with two runs scored. Ryan Polley (2-4) also scored a pair of runs for the Braves.

Hanson (1-4) and Braden Sundquist (2-4) each had RBIs with two and one.
