MENOMINEE -- The Escanaba Esckymos boys and girls teams finished second and third, respectively, at the GNC finals Thursday in Menominee.
A total of six Eskymos earned first or second All-Conference Team honors.
Cierra Scott and Bryson Lancour each made their respective first teams, while Peyton Wellman, Abby Hill, Sawyer Lamarch and Rogan Gravelle made second team.
Menominee's Josie Hofer and Brady Badker copped GNC Player of the Year.
The boys (342) finished 11 behind the victorious Marquette Redmen with 331. Kingsford 347 and Menominee 355 rounded out the top four.
Marquette's Joe Luke 78 and John Weber 81 took first and second individually. Kingsford's Matt Solda rounded out the podium finishers at 82.
Gladstone's Cam Ballard (83) tied for fourth with Brady Badker of Menominee, while Shane Wallin of Escanaba and Brock Taylor of Marquette tied for sixth at 84.
The Eskymos Bryson Lancour and Owen Lancour each carded 85 to tie for eighth.
Escanaba's Sawyer Lamarch had a score of 88 and Rogan Gravelle 89.
Menominee took the girls' tournament win at 394. Marquette (460), Escanaba (482) and Kingsford (576) capped off the results.
Maroons Josie Hofer (87) and Jenna Nolde (92) placed first and second, while teammate Madison Derusha tied for third with Marquette's Morgan Rhodes at 96.
Cierra Scott 102 was the highest placing Escanaba player in fifth. Behind her, Peyton Wellman 115 tied with Marquette's Zoe Smith in sixth.
Annika Wangrud finished at 131 and Maddie Wilson 134 for Escanaba.
For the season-long team standings, Menominee took the girls' crown with Marquette, Escanaba and Kingsford following.
On the boys' side, Marquette took first with Escanaba second, Menominee third, Kingsford fourth and Gladstone fifth.
