MENOMINEE — The Gladstone softball team shut out Menominee 4-0 Thursday in Menominee.

The Braves started early, scoring two runs in the first capped by Rylee Gerow crossing home plate on a passed ball.

After going three and out in the second, Gladstone added one more in the third and finished the game with another run in the sixth.

Montgomery Pepin earned the win for the Braves, striking out 13, walking two and allowing one hit.

Gladstone visits Bark River-Harris for a twinbill today.
