MILWAUKEE -- The Bay College Norse men's basketball team (0-3) lost 69-62 against the Bryant and Stratton Bobcats (2-1) Saturday afternoon in Milwaukee.
The Bobcats opened the game with a 21-8 lead over the Norse. Despite the grim-looking opening for Bay, they clawed their way back to only be down by six, 34-28, to end the first half.
The Norse stayed within reasonable striking distance of the Bobcats through the second half, coming as close as five points in the closing minutes. Bay, though, wouldn't be able to overcome the deficit, losing 69-62.
Matt Wagner scored 24 points for the Norse, with 18 coming in the second half.
The Norse are scheduled to host Dakota County Technical College this upcoming Saturday with a 3:30 tip-off.
