The scoreboard and lights at the athletic and baseball fields in Escanaba were lit up for a few hours Friday night to honor the graduating seniors.

“We decided weeks ago to throw the lights and scoreboard on in honor of our senior class,” Escanaba Athletic Director Tony Perino said. “Life is about the little things, and it is just another way we wanted to show how much we were thinking of the seniors — as well as our other students — and all they were going through. After all, this whole situation was not their fault, but yet, so much closure and fun memories were taken from them.”
