FELCH — The North Dickinson Nordics hosted the Rapid River Rockets in the Carl F. Lemin Jr. Tuesday night in Skyline Central Conference volleyball. ND swept Rapid River 3-0 (25-13 25-14 25-15).

“I thought we came out very sluggish tonight and flat-footed. Some nights the girls come out with lots of energy and have a bounce in their step, but tonight wasn’t one of those nights,” said Nordics’ coach Sandy Haustein. “Kylie Gustafson and Bri Smith served 100 percent tonight. Ashton Hord and Bri Smith had some very nice passes, along with some very nice digs from Hannah Clark.

“We have to communicate with one another better, and once we start doing that we will be a lot better team. Tonight was a great team win, one that everyone took part in. I am proud of the girls.”

North Dickinson travels to face conference foe North Central Thursday while the Rockets host Superior Central.
