Football camp

HARRIS — Bark River-Harris is hosting a ‘County Line Wing-T Football Camp’ June 17-19 at the BR-H school.

The camp runs from 6-8 p.m. each day. Registration is due June 1.

Road race May 27

RAPID EIVER — The first Rapid River “Run to Remember” five-kilometer run takes place May 27 at 9 a.m.

Entry fee is $20 through May 23. Late entries cost $25. Online registration ends May 23. Phone registrations will be accepted through May 25 at 8 p.m.

Early packet pick-up is May 25 after 4 p.m. at the Northern Lights YMCA. Race day packet pick-up and registration starts at 7 a.m. at the Rapid River Lions Club pavilion.

Terrace Bluff men

GLADSTONE — Dan DeRouin shot a 38 and Russ Pirlot and Trent Stupak carded 39s in the Terrace Bluff Wednesday Night League.

ECC men

ESCANABA — Brian Robinette became a double-winner in the Escanaba Country Club Men’s League Wednesday, firing a two-under-par 34 in the nine-hole round and three-under-par 69 for 18 holes.

In the nine-hole round, he was followed by Jeff McCall 35, Steve Scott 37, Randy Steinhausen and Jeff Rae 38 and Alex Sullivan, Jake Wiles and Dave Cannon 39.

McCall hit 73 in the 18-hole round. He was followed by Randy Eis 75, Kurt Schwalbach and Jordan Lemire 76 and Dave Harris and Rae 79.

ECC women

ESCANABA — Barb Scott led the way in the Escanaba Country Club Women’s League Wednesday, shooting a 42. She was followed by Meghan Casey 43, Sarah Johnson, Mary Bergman and Becky Jacobson 46, Amy Johnson, Karen Kelly, Paula Gustafson and Sharon Nelson 47, Lindsey Reynolds and Jessica Bray 48 and Laura Clifford, Crissy Strom, Connie Kangas and Laurie Johnson 49.
