IRON MOUNTAIN — Escanaba’s Mike Neeld moved up two spots from last year to win the eighth annual UP Northwoods Triathlon at Lake Antoine County Park on Saturday.

Neeld, who placed third in the 2017 Olympic Division event, posted the fastest swim (26:11 for 1500 meters) and bike (1:05.43 for 40K) times. He covered the 10K run in 48:39, combining for an overall time of 2 hours, 20 minutes, 56 seconds.
