NEW YORK (AP) -- The New York Rangers agreed to terms with winger Eeli Tolvanen on a one-year, $1.5 million contract, the team announced Wednesday.
The Rangers and Tolvanen reached the deal with a little more than two weeks before the start of training camp.
Tolvanen is coming off a 36-point season with Seattle, skating in 78 of 82 games. He set career highs with 23 goals in 2024-25 and 41 points in '23-24.
Tolvanen figures to slot in on New York's second or third line. The 27-year-old Finn is joining his third organization after being drafted by Nashville in 2017 and getting claimed off waivers by the Kraken in 2022.
