Thanks for park project

This week’s bouquets go to:

From Miriam Smith:

Congratulations to Karen Moore and her group of volunteers who worked so hard creating the beautiful rock gardens in Ludington Park. They are not only beautiful (and will continue to be more so as they grow) but educational as well.

Adam and his crew do a wonderful job of keeping the park clean and trimmed and its always so nice to see so many families enjoying it. It is never too late to say thank you to the people who decorated Christmas trees on the island. When covid closed or cancelled so many things you brought smiles and cheer to us.

Thank you to all who make our park so enjoyable.

Thanks to everyone who attended the annual Friends of Gladstone Library Card/Game Party on June 12 at the First Lutheran Fellowship Hall. The event brought in $1,298 which will be used to help fund future activities and programs for the community. A fun time was had by all playing cards and games, winning prizes, and enjoying the delicious strawberry shortcake. Please join us for our next event in the fall.
