Even a political Olympics
EDITOR:
We have now reached a time where promoting a political narrative is common place. There is no longer freedom of speech, as we once held to. Certain political affiliates will silence any opinion that does not fall in line with their agenda. Translated, “If you have a dissenting opinion, too bad, we are not interested, follow our thinking or shut up” is now practiced.
The latest display of shoving something down the conservative throat came to us via the olympics. Was it subtle or in-your-face obvious?
Definition of the word impressionable, Webster says, “easily influenced because of a lack of critical ability. Children are highly impressionable and susceptible…”
Definition of the word exploit, Webster says, “make full use of and derive benefit from.”
Please ponder two things: easily influenced and derive benefit from.
The Olympic Committee determined, a calculated decision on their part, to use children to deliver a message, a narrative that excludes both God and country. Even the olympics can’t deliver only sporting events, they too must inject a political narrative.
Is there any recompense for using children, when the child does not yet understand what you are doing to them? Jesus says, “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a great millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
I would never consider myself to be a “conspiracy theorist”, however, look at what the Olympic Committee had these children sing in the opening ceremony. Given our current administration and their agenda regarding a no-holds-barred move toward socialism and marxism, ask yourself if this was by accident or by design?
The children were instructed to sing a song, Imagine, by John Lennon:
Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us, only sky…
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too…
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can…
Let’s recap the not-so-subtle message the Olympic Committee was sending. And yes, by all means, imagine what the world would become if: There was no heaven. In other words no hope; There was no hell. We’re already acting like this is true; There are no countries. So, who do you want running this one-world-order?; There is no religion. Imagine no church services, as it will be illegal to thank and praise God; You have no possessions. I guess that means you give up all you have and the one world government owns everything.
If you cherish the freedom this country offers, it would do us all well to vote according to the values you hold. Freedom will never be free! Yet, it looks as though there are those, our current leadership, who want to control everything. No imagination needed!
