I am writing to encourage the voters of Delta County to elect Andrew Hayse District Court Judge on November 3. I believe Andrew is the best candidate because he is an intelligent, genuine, caring man of integrity who has the experience that matters to jump in on day one. He has been in the courtroom as an assistant prosecutor, family court referee (handling family law cases just like a judge would), and district court magistrate. I especially like that he has always worked in the public service sector in his law career.
His professional goal has always been to serve the public as a judge, and he has some lofty goals for the District Court Judge position: start a mental health court, continue and keep the drug court strong, bring more attorneys to Escanaba, promote court efficiency and secure the District Court in Delta County for the next 30 plus years. These goals will take time to implement, but I have no doubt that Andrew has the passion, energy, intelligence and time (he is young enough to spend 30-40 years in this position) to achieve each of these goals and make Delta County a better place for all citizens.
Given that he is married to our daughter Darby, I planned on voting for Andrew Hayse from day one. Then the more I attended meetings and went canvassing with him and heard the passion in his voice as he described his path from lower Michigan to Delta County to running for judge, his experience, his goals, and his ability to flawlessly answer some tough questions, I was convinced that Andrew Hayse is the best District Court Judge candidate.
Please get out and vote on November 3 (or before if voting early or absentee) and vote Andrew Hayse for District Court Judge in Delta County.
