Last month, columnist Robert Reich went off again on the evils of the GOP and his favorite target, Donald Trump. In an earlier column, he encouraged Blue voters to move to Red states so they could vote against Trump there. What? He even blames the media and Democrats (oops, I repeat myself) for not going hard enough on the GOP. For Reich, Biden is not too old — our President who cannot walk or talk. Biden has one advantage — far superior to his VP Harris. It appears that the Dems may be replacing the President this summer to get telegenic star, California Governor Newsom on the ballot, the candidate whose state is falling apart with homelessness, crime, drugs and people and businesses fleeing the state. (Yeah, let’s elect him) And, even with antisemitism splitting his own party, he find the GOP totally “dysfunctional.” He says the media should focus more on Biden’s steady hand. (I won’t go there.) He writes, “As we head into 2024 elections, this is no longer a fight between Democrats who want more government (what a self-indictment.) and Republicans who want less, but between democracy and fascism.” Not sure why Robert would call his party ‘fascist.’ Oops, my error.

Please note the emphasis on “more government.” Americans — want that? More control, regulations, etc.? Hillary and other Dems believe Trump will end democracy forever, the party who cannot define a ‘woman’ and find terrorism ‘contextual.’ Liberal Morning Joe believes that a Trump victory means he will assassinate whoever he wants and elections will cease…the party that wants to require pronouns, restrict oil and nativity scenes and destroy Israel fears GOP initiatives? Recently, there is much media fuss about a TX and OH woman whose health is compromised by strict abortion laws. These women are sad exceptions, two lives vs. saving thousands of pre-borns.

I hear too much flack about the 187 pending anti-trans laws being proposed. I looked up “anti-trans” and these laws feature banning 3 things: Required pronoun laws No men in women’s sports and facilities, and no drugs or body cutting until 18. That is not ‘anti-trans,’ it is pro-life. That is true gender affirming care, keeping what and who you are No-brainers. The rabid pro-Palestinians lose when lose they break-up kids” Christmas parties, trans folks when they parade around 3/4 naked and climate shockers when they block traffic and splatter art with soup. They defeat themselves like the Pistons.

With all the abortion hassles, encouraging Chicago Public Schools to provide free condoms to 10-year-olds, these should urge us to all support abstinence education. What a concept. A recent poll of young Democrat voters showed 20% did not believe that October 7th occurred. It seems like too many Dems find it hard to condemn an international terrorist group. Trump and the GOP may have an uphill battle. The Democrats are making it so much easier. More “he/she/x/them/sir/dude/2-spirit/queen/t/w/yikes/+++!”, please.
