Missing brick work

I don’t know who had the bright idea to cover up the beautiful brick work at the Gladstone Great Lakes First Federal Credit Union in Gladstone, but it sure is a shame. I have admired the wonderful craftsmanship of that building since I was a kid going to see Dr. Hult when he had his office there. Most people put up vinyl siding to cover up boards that need paint. I was told they want it to look like the Escanaba Credit Union. They are seven miles apart, who cares if they look alike. Terrible decision.
