EDITOR:

This is a wakeup call to all residents of Delta County, Michigan.

As you probably already know, three Delta County Board Commissioners, Robert Barron, David Moyle, and Robert Peterson, have conspired among themselves to do a forced annexation of approximately 19,000 plus acres from Escanaba Township to Cornell Township, which will have devastating effects on both townships. We know a petition had been circulated, however the facts were never fully explained. This annexation will take away almost 50% of the tax base for Escanaba Township and create a severe overload to Cornell Township.

How can we let three elected officials have this much control over Delta County, Michigan? This action must be stopped.
