Why do some stories make it to national prominence while some never see the light of day? I am referencing the Idaho murders of the four college students. I have a guess, and I wish I was wrong, but after the initial story, we all saw a picture of the four. If the two young good-looking girls’ pictures had not be prominently displayed, would the national media had picked it up? Unfortunately, if it had been four less attractive students, we might not have heard about it.
This has troubled me for years. I know that some of it is politically motivated.
