Real threats

EDITOR:

Before the midterm elections there were some letters that Trump was a threat to democracy, not his policies but his election denial that he thought was stolen from him. We now find out that his campaign was spied on from the start and fisa warrants obtained illegally but if i were to list everything the Feds tried to stop his presidency I would run out of room for this venue. You can see why he had a hard time trusting the system. Here is what I think are the real threats to our republic.

One major party wants to end the filibuster in the Senate so you don’t have to convince anyone from the other party to go along with your ideas just ram legislature through with no compromise.

One party wants to abolish the electoral college so flyover country doesn’t matter and the coastal elite decide all presidential elections.

One party wants to pack the Supreme Court abolishing hundreds of years of presidence.

One party is trying to shut down our energy sector which has led to energy prices spiking.

One party has opened the southern border and our country is overwhelmed with illegal immigrants and enough fentenol to kill everyone in this country.

The President just announced he will bail out the Teamsters pension fund with taxpayer money because it is underfunded. What about us normal citizens who have lost thousands since he has taken office where is our relief.

In closing I think these are all threats to our way of life and love Trump or hate him he has nothing to do with what is going on today. Also I find it strange that this paper can put out a negative story on Trump everyday but not one story on all the collusion the Twitter files are exposing.
