As a Christian, the act of abortion has never been an option. I consider life and deaths matters for the Lord. However, I would like to point out to everyone that Proposal 3 is bad legislation. There isn’t any guidance or parameters for all the rights given to women. Will a 14 year old girl have the right to abortion, sex change, sterilization….all without parent involvement? Remember, they can’t drive, buy a beer, smoke a cigarette, or skip school.

Will doctors and health facilities have the right to deny these services to women? Will we see fewer doctors in womens health? Will some health care facilities, like OSF, be forced to close?

What about the age of the baby (fetus)? Will abortion be ok right up the the due date? I have beautiful twin grandsons who were delivered in the eighth month. It breaks my heart knowing babies (fetus) at the same age are killed, aborted, and put in the trash.

None of these questions are addressed in this legislation. If we pass it they will not be addressed.

Please vote no. We do not need another bad bill on the books.
