Elections

EDITOR:

My car insurance needed to be renewed. In Michigan, you can’t just renew what you had last year. You have to physically sign documents. My premiums were paid a month ago. I wasn’t getting renewal documents. I called and they said that a signature and date was required. So, I signed and dated the forms. Even though my intent was known since I already paid, until they had a signed and dated copy, I didn’t get insurance. If I had been in an accident, or been required to show a proof, I would not have been able to.

On November 8, a “group” went to court in Pennsylvania, and had the court order that even though it was required to have a valid signature and date, that a vote was to be counted. This could have been hundreds, or more likely thousands of votes being counted with no valid signature or date.

In Arizona, the governor’s seat was open. One of those who was on the ballot was actually the person whose office was in charge of overseeing the election process. A week later, her total was 20 thousand more than her challenger.

Sunday afternoon, the Packers were playing the Dallas Cowboys. If we found out that the head referee had been a long time Cowboy fan or maybe he had placed a few bets for the Packers to win, there would have been outrage.

The election isn’t nearly as serious as a Packers or Lions game. It was Pennsylvania, and Arizona. It could only determine what laws are made and followed. Nothing serious.
