When my wife, Kelli vanGinhoven, decided to run for Delta County commissioner, I can honestly say that I didn’t know what a county commissioner actually does. Throughout the last several months, I gained a lot of valuable knowledge and insights from her as she was determined to learn every aspect of the job to get a chance to become your next District 4 commissioner. She learned a lot, and so did I!

I’m proud to say that she put in her due diligence through the course of her campaign, and I stand 100% behind her. I’m convinced that my wife is the best person for the position of commissioner and will be ready from day one. She will show up to do the job.

Social media can be a wonderful thing, but at the same time it can be very cruel, and we’ve experienced that firsthand in these last few months. I’m extremely proud that among all the negativity that unfortunately came our way, Kelli used it in a very positive way and always chose to take the high road.

Last, but certainly not least, I would like to thank her campaign team for all the positive reinforcement and good advice given to both of us. You guys are great.
