EDITOR:

I’m writing in support of two Delta County commissioners. For District 3 I support Theresa Nelson who has served her constituents since 2017. With the redistricting she now has to run against another commissioner from what is District 5. I worked in low income housing for 28 years and worked with Theresa when she worked at Community Action (for 39 years) from time to time. She was always very professional and compassionate to my residents. She takes her position on the Delta County Board seriously and votes for what will help all the people of Delta County. Theresa is an honest and dedicated woman and will continue to represent us as a whole and not only what will benefit her.

The other person I support is Kelli VanGinhoven (cupcake Kelli) for District 4 Commissioner. Kelli is a young woman who has the energy and zest we need to move Delta County forward. She has been attending city and county meetings on a regular basis for years unlike our current commissioner. She’s a downtown business owner who has been donating to our community through fundraisers for eight years. We need new ideas and she will work for all of us as a whole, no private agenda. So if you vote at city hall or the civic center. Please vote for Kelli.

Our county needs these two women on the Delta County Board of Commissioners. This year vote for the person, not a party.
