Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we had a person locally, that would listen to us and represent us? A person with experience, knowledge that is honest, has family values and is always on the sunny side? Someone that will research what the public wants and find the best way to get things done? Impossible?

It is possible.

Kelli Van Ginhoven (known and loved by the community as Cupcake Kelli) is running as an Independent candidate for Delta County Board of Commissioners, District 4, Precincts 1 and 3. The greater city of Escanaba. She was an honored Elks Citizen of the year and is active in many organizations such as Honor Flight, Community Foundation and Delta County Cancer Alliance. Not only does she volunteer her time, but also donates her profits to local fundraisers. To be better informed to resolve your issues, she has been attending all the county board meetings, as well as county commissioners committee, UPCAP, airport, road commission, budget presentations, and more. Kelli takes the time to understand how to better serve Delta County and to develop a good working relationship with all the board members.

She has developed a successful business and embraced our community. She is an active member of the DDA (Downtown Development Authority). She will find the answers to your questions if she does not have them. Sound too good to be true? Her track record proves otherwise. Kelli leads by example. It is time for our community to have someone with its best interests at heart. This dynamo, with endless energy wants to serve the people of our county and hear everyone’s voice. We deserve better and she is our better choice.

Partisan politics do not belong at the local level. Running as an Independent will allow her to focus on the issues and the people and not swayed by party affiliation. Vote for the person not a party. Not Left, not Right, just forward.
