Your vote counts

EDITOR:

There’s no denying, we were in the start of a pandemic and the government chose to close all church services, declaring church, God if you will, as non-essential. Has the government ever declared God as non-essential prior to this governmental push to establish a cancel culture and imposing never-before-seen impositions on constitutional freedoms? You know this as, “your opinion counts only if you agree with our narrative, otherwise shut up and do as you are told.” Sounds evil doesn’t it?

Sadly, these decisions could fit squarely under the definition of communism, eroding freedom of choice with a socialistic/Marxist agenda.

No doubt, this governmental dominance certainly comes across as ungodly. Have any other ungodly governmental decisions made their way into the American landscape? You decide:

Our government has said it is ok to take the life of a baby (62,000,000) and instead of calling it murder, call it abortion…you know this decision as “my body, my choice.” My body, my choice was nowhere to be found regarding the imposed vaccinations. The government, acting God-like, has said it is perfectly ok for a child to have two Moms or two Dads and it’s perfectly ok for you to choose your gender.

If there is a God, what does He think of these decisions? See if the following comments from the pulpit make sense: 1) “If you choose to leave God, both individually or collectively, misery will follow.” 2) “When a country tries to act like God, the empire will crumble.”

More un-godly, governmental decisions: You cannot display the 10 Commandments, pray or conduct a Bible study in public schools. Yet, the state of Washington recently approved the right of LGBTQ participants to use the same public school to promote their agenda and the school board approved giving them money to fund their effort. Further, a Washington D.C. school district recently fired a teacher/football coach for praying with his team on the football field. Speaking of D.C., the prayer breakfast was just held, with the President giving the keynote, and the word God was not mentioned one time in his speech.

Cancellation of people on social media platforms because it doesn’t fit the desired narrative, continues. How is it that all congressmen, oops congresspersons, cannot address this immediately and change this abuse against freedom of speech? Yes, both Democrats and Republicans are guilty of not correcting this ongoing travesty.

If you don’t think your vote matters, all of the above should convince you otherwise. Please investigate fully the person you think deserves your vote. One last word from the pulpit, and please, let history judge whether this statement is true: “Without Gods mercy, we are all in trouble, because as God himself has declared, ‘your sin will find you out.”
