After reading Mr Jason Dubord’s letter to the editor in April 28, 2022 Daily Press, I had to take a ride down Ludington Street. Yes, Ukrainian colors are displayed by someone with strips of yellow and blue on light poles. I did not notice another nation’s flag “flying” anywhere on Ludington Street. Now, I will add, I support Ukraine and do fly the Ukrainian flag, except during Easter. And for many reasons, Russia is starting to push harder by shutting off the gas supply to Poland and one other country. Putin has threatened nuclear weapons. Other countries along or close to Russia’s border are now fearing what could happen next in Putin’s take-over mind. My ancestors are from Finland, Denmark, Ireland and England. We must support Ukraine. However on our national holidays my American flag will be flying high and proud for my grandpa, dad, stepdads, stepbrothers and brothers-in-law who all served proudly in the United States Armed Services.
