Plant a tree
EDITOR:
We know that trees process and retain carbon dioxide and thereby produce oxygen. This ability makes the tree our staunchest ally in the battle to preserve a livable atmosphere.
You would think the political class would encourage the protection and propagation of our ally, the tree. Instead they promote artificial means which do not accomplish the task they are rumored to achieve.
It would be foolish to expect governments to exercise common sense or to act in a non-politically tainted manner. Therefore, let’s get it done — plant a tree this spring and you and yours will be rewarded.
