One small dip at a time

1 min read

EDITOR:

There seems to be a layer of soot covering our country during these times of COVID, political divide, the absence of civility in conversations with differing opinions. My how we have descended into a remarkable divisiveness and frustration. Anger has become the overwhelming default for so many of us.

I have no idea how this environment can reverse itself, or if it ever will. Perhaps individually we could take small steps and dip our toe into a pond of tolerance just to try it out, and maybe, just maybe, it may bring a sense of comfort and eventually become more normal than not.

Difficult it will be, but we will never know unless we try….one small dip at a time.
