On Aug. 10, 2021 you printed a letter from Nino Green. Making a case that another writer was writing in error about the Southern Border.

Mr. Green used alot of facts and numbers to make his argument that all is normal at our Southern Border. “But” if in fact there is a crisis it’s Donald Trumps fault. In fact it was so convincing that I thought to myself “damn”, Chuck maybe you have this all wrong.”

I gave it some thought and then I decided to call a relative who is a customs officer working the southern border. I read him the letter and what I heard back was an explosion of four letter words that made this former Marine proud. I guess that I didn’t, nor did Mr. Blasier have the situation wrong.

The Custom’s Officer did say one word that was printable during his tirade “fairy tale”
