In response to Mr. Hager’s letter about living in fear and who’s behind it. Lets start with the virus. The right wing GOP which is the driving force behind their party has continually denied the science and have created a dangerous climate of doubt against the doctors and scientist who are working overtime because of their ignorance. They will promote phony cures over the vaccine which I feel is criminal considering they are there to help and protect the people. Tired catch phrases such as cancel culture, socialism, woke and to many silly phrases that are poorly researched and have no merit. There is no open borders but the GOP continues to say this driving people to our borders with false hopes. We have a humanitarian crisis at the border. These people are looking for safety and hope from America which we represent, not so according to GOP playing off fears of their voters and not at all coming up with solutions. Walls don’t work, diplomacy and a plan do. I an tired of the hatred and divisiveness of the GOP rhetoric.

Biden is trying to stop this with logic and an approach from government that we haven’t seen since FDR. What is the GOP afraid of? Is it that all people will be included not just the rich? Biden will unite this county but it will be tough. It takes teamwork not anarchy, Our tax dollars can work for us and not just for the rich. Its not socialism it’s America where we help people, all people so that are county becomes stronger not divided.
