COVID information needed

EDITOR:

Delta County now has over 300 cases of COVID-19. At the end of August, there were 148 cases reported in the county according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. So there have been more cases identified in the month of September than in the previous six months.

This raises the question — why? I have confidence our local health department is doing all that needs to be done with contact tracing. Learning how the virus spread so rapidly in our area in a short time would be useful. It would teach us more about what needs to be done in order to slow down the spread. It may also slow down the spread of misinformation. Knowledge is power!
