Unlock Michigan schools

I would like to heartily encourage parents to attend their local school board meetings and voice their concerns about the COVID-19 protection plans and the re-opening of schools. Your voice is the most important, dear parents. You elect the school board and they are there to make sure that your vision for the school is implemented. As a retired teacher, I am aware of how much power our local school board has and how little the parents generally are aware of that. Please don’t be a victim. Speak with other parents. Go to the meetings prepared with solutions and suggestions. This is your community, your school, and your family.
