Spinners of tales

EDITOR:

Speaker Pelosi and Chairman of the inquisition, Schiff, managed to deliver their coup of an impeachment vote in the House. They seem elated.

Not too much excitement here. How can a verdict that counts on hearsay, allegations without facts, and outright lies, amount to anything substantial? They sure dance smoothly to “My mind is made up, don’t confuse me with facts!” Lots of practice.

The Horowitz Report made fitting background music for the dance. Seventeen “inaccuracies and omissions in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant applications,” including an email that was doctored to falsify info given, plus info excluded that would have bolstered the position of the man being spied on. Lies, deception, trial by gossip. Right here in our own USA. Isn’t it embarrassing that a large group of adults in leadership positions could be persuaded to violate their integrity and approve that?

But I lose focus… I comfort myself with a statement from a fellow who calls Himself Truth. He said, “Do not be afraid of them. What has been covered up will be uncovered. What has been done in secret will be exposed.” Matt 10: 26.

Who could do that? Well, look over on the sidelines where Attorney General William Barr and attorney John H. Durham continue their investigation. They insist on facts to determine the story line, not setting the story line then digging up only what supports the story while suppressing what doesn’t. Facts have a way of revealing an unpopular truth, of ending group hysteria. Their report will be worth the wait. And it is coming.

So, I yawn at this latest move of the Deceivercrats. It is tiring listening to them stage one phony crises after another trying to overturn the results of our legal election in 2016. That’s my vote and yours they are trying to nullify.

And all the while our nation’s business is neglected while the spinners of tales stack up expenses we taxpayers must pay. Enough
