I just read the article entitled ‘Crash prompts garbage truck purchase’ and there were some facts which were missing.

I did not see an article regarding this crash, so I would like to know how two pickup trucks could total a garbage truck? Who was at fault? Was there damages to the two pickup trucks? Was anyone hurt? Were and tickets issued? Was someone texting? According to the article, ‘…after insurance payments are received and the totaled truck is sold, Jordan expects the city to clear roughly $52,500. on the vehicle.’ It would appear the city is making $52,500. on this vehicle, so where is the money going to go? Perhaps more garbage trucks should be totaled if the city needs more money.
