Say thank you to Escanaba Public Works
EDITOR:
Yesterday, July 5, I walked through Ludington Park. It looked like a garbage truck exploded. I don’t know why it is that people don’t take more pride in their local community while celebrating our nation’s independence. People throw litter, dirty diapers, residuals from fireworks where they stand even though there were a multitude of trash containers within in easy access.
The fact people do these things is not what this is about.
Our Public Works Department within the city does an excellent job of trying to keep this beautiful park clean fighting seagulls, and pigs (mostly the human kind).
Next time you see a Public Works employee let them know how much we appreciate what they do. As for me, I thank you for your efforts and the way in which you make guests feel welcome by your actions, and the way you treat the public.
