LifeVacs help save lives
This week’s bouquets go to:
Bob VanDamme, Community Foundation for Delta County Past Board chair, along with Board of Trustees Members Nick Chenier and Kristen Mac Arthur recently donating LifeVacs, from the community foundations Save a Life Program, previously called Save A Heart, to Escanaba Public Safety Department Director, John Gudwer, Officer Jared Hunter and Officer Kelly Kenneally.
In the Community Foundation for Delta County April 2024 grant round the Escanaba Public Safety Department was awarded a grant for LifeVacs and Officer Hunter, assisted by Officer Kenneally, has already saved a life using one.
With the programs addition of donating LifeVacs to all First Responders in Delta County, the community foundation changed their Save A Heart program to Save A Life.
