Entertainers made difference at Adult Memory Care Program

This week’s bouquets go to:

From CAA-Adult Memory Care Program:

The staff, participants, and family caregivers of CAA-Adult Memory Care Program would like to take this opportunity to thank the talented musicians, singers, and dancers who have donated their time and talent to provide us with entertainment throughout the years. Your talent enhances the lives of all the participants; the cognitive stimulation and joy it brings is priceless. Again, thank you all so very much for sharing with us your time and talent. God bless all of you.

If you would like to give of your talent or know of such talent that would be interested in volunteering, please contact CAA-Adult Memory Care Program at (906) 789-2886. We are located at 2635 First Avenue South, Escanaba, MI 49829.

From the Gladstone 2020 DC Trippers:

A huge thanks to Jack’s Restaurant in Rapid River from the Gladstone 2020 DC Trippers. They helped the Trippers raise nearly $1,800 for their upcoming trip by selling Jack’s famous cinnamon rolls. While we may have over-sold their expectations, it’s because of their fine reputation for having the best around! The children and parents are extremely appreciative of their support of not just Rapid River, but the surrounding communities as well. Thanks to Bobbi, Laurie the baker and the rest of the staff in making this happen. If you haven’t tried a Jack’s cinnamon roll, make sure to stop out and get yourself one.

Each Saturday the Daily Press salutes individuals and groups from our area who have had a very positive impact on the way we live.

We identify our bouquet recipients in one of two ways: from Daily Press news pages and from nominations sent in by our readers.

Mail us a postcard or letter identifying your nomination and putting into detail what they’ve done. Include your name, address, and phone number. Send nominations to Saturday Bouquets, The Daily Press, 600 Ludington Street, Escanaba, MI 49829.

They may also be sent to us by going to our Web site, www.dailypress.net, and clicking on the submit news button. Once there, click on “Bouquets” and follow the simple instructions.
