Church organist sets the bar high

This week’s bouquets go to:

From Stephen Sprague of Grass Valley, Calif.:

Wow. Just want you to know seeing that picture of Mr. Aronson at the organ blew my mind. 73 years? 73 years playing the organ on Sundays? 73 years, every Sunday, playing that organ? 73 years? Talk about being a humble servant of the Lord, man, this guy puts Moses to shame. Wow. I’ve heard of farmers tending the land that long — that’s in the realm of reality — but giving your service to another for that length of time is, well, utterly off the charts. I’d be willing to bet he’s saying its really no big deal either, right? Either way, Mr. Aronson, you set the bar pretty dang extraordinarily high as to what one can do given faith, devotion, humility and, dare I say it, love of something greater.

So… what are your plans this Sunday?
