Veteran says thanks to Honor Flight

This week’s bouquets go to:

From William Maki:

A letter of thank you to all who made the veterans Honor Flight a day to remember for all of us veterans who were honored to fly to Washington D.C. to visit all the memorials in remembrance of those who served and gave their lives for our freedom. I was in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Coast Guard and was blessed to come back home. But also what a wonderful group of people from your area Escanaba, Gladstone. The people gave us a big send off with music and appreciation that we vets will remember always plus coming back to the airport at 8:30 p.m. again the great people of your towns to welcome us back. The flight was late, but the people stayed. May God bless you all for your love and concern thats UPers love to support each other. Again, my personal thank you — so much also the rest of the trip was great. Those in Washington D.C. took good care of us, our guardians, plus tour guides and so many others involved. My final note — God bless those in the U.P. of Michigan
