Douglas Darryl Garvin, age 80, passed away on October 8th , 2026 surrounded by his family whom he loved dearly. Douglas was born the son of Walter and Angela (Mersnick) Garvin on April 29th, 1946. He graduated from Manistique High School in the Class of 1964 and began working for Lakehead Pipeline shortly afterward. Doug married the love of his life, Jeanne Kay, on August 20th 1966 and they spent the next 60 years together.
