Christine C. Doney

ISHPEMING — Christine C. Doney, age 85, longtime Ishpeming resident, passed away on Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, at the OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba surrounded by her family. The family will greet relatives and friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at the United Presbyterian Church, 112 E. Euclid St., Ishpeming. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. A reception will follow the services at the Congress in Ishpeming. A complete obituary will appear in Thursday’s Daily Press.

Donna Joyce Erickson

BARK RIVER — Donna Joyce Erickson, 88, of Bark River, passed away at home on Christmas morning, Dec. 25, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Survivors include her husband, Leonard. Visitation will be on Saturday, Jan. 6 from 10 a.m. until noon at the Ford River Community Chapel, 3103 M-35, Bark River, MI 49807. The funeral service will follow at noon with Pastor Jay Gilchrist officiating. A complete obituary will be forthcoming. The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family.

STONINGTON — Jahne K. Hupy passed away on December 24, 2023 at her home in Stonington, at the age of 99, attended by loving friends and caregivers. Jahne was born to Phil and Harriet (Beneshek) Hupy in Gladstone on December 11, 1924. She graduated from Gladstone High School and completed nursing school at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. Jahne enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955.
