FELCH — With a detour available, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Forest Resources Division will close a section of White Post Road north of Felch beginning May 23. The road closure is for replacement of a bridge over Skunk Creek situated about a quarter mile east of Norway Lake Road (Dickinson County Road 581). ESCANABA — Mary Ruth (Boucher) McDonald, 90, was called home on Thursday, May 9, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Survivors include her four children, all of Escanaba, Daniel H. (Donna) McDonald Jr., Steven (Vicki) McDonald, Debra (Roy) Webber, and Mary Hardwick. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with her grandson Rev. Daniel McDonald officiating. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family.
